An Overview of LexMizzou

LexMizzou stands for Learning Expedition at Mizzou. LexMizzou is orgininally the name of a location-based augmented reality (AR) game developed by a team of graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, and faculty members at the School of Information Science and Learning Technologies, University of Missouri, Columbia, U.S.A. (Mizzou) on the ARIS platform to help freshman to familiarize themselves with the key locations on campus as well as understanding values which Mizzou treasure.

Under the lead of Dr. Isa Jahnke, LexMizzou team successfully pitched the idea of holding workshops to help Mizzou students design and develop games which can facilitate their learning as well as the learning of their fellow students and got funded by Mizzou Interdisciplinary Innovations Fund for the fiscal year 2016-2017.

LexMizzou team members can take part in the workshops under various roles including researchers, coordinators, game designers and developers for credits or non-credits.
